GOODBYE LIVE365, HELLO TURNTABLE.FM

Yup, you read the headline correctly. RadioDetox on Live365 is no more (as of 1/1/12).

In case you haven't heard, the station that you have known and loved for years is offline. It was a good run -- over 10 years of broadcasting on Live365. With all of the amazing music services out there now it just didn't make sense to continue paying for an online station.

Not to worry, though, since turntable.fm is the slickest music service and is totally free to use. You're able to sign up using your Facebook or Twitter account. Once that's done, come DJ or just listen to tracks being spun in the RadioDetox room. Who knows, you might even be able to chat and DJ with Angry Canadian (if he's there).

Unlike the station on Live365 that only played PUNK, SKA, and CELTIC styles, in the TT.fm room you'll hear all kinds of styles and artists -- not mainstream ones, of course. The website needs to get updated, but in the meantime you're able to let me know what you think by going to radio.wufoo.com/forms/radiodetox/.
